ACCOMODATION 

We have a selection of comfortable bedrooms, most of which are en-suite and all have a carer call system in place. With two spacious day rooms, entertainment room and two dining rooms Moorgate offers a spacious relaxing environment to listen to music, watch T.V or films or the freedom to simply sit quietly. We also have a jacuzzi bath, special access wet shower room and additional shower rooms around the home, all providing the latest in specialist equipment.

ACTIVITIES

We have an activity coordinator who arranges activities according to individual residents needs. Trips out to local coffee shops, garden centres and local events such as the fortnightly tea dance in Tavistock.

GARDEN

The attractive garden is well-tended with outside seating for the summer months. There is a sensory garden with raised beds with a herb garden. Interested residents are welcome to help with its maintenance.

 

 

MEALS

Our attractive dining room offers a tempting and varied menu of home cooked food, freshly prepared from local produce where possible. Individual tastes are taken into consideration and all special diets can be catered for.

STAFFING

Our highly trained staff are on call 24 hours a day, most of whom have or are working towards a recognised NVQ qualifications. Moorgate maintains strong emphasis on training.

SERVICES

Here at Moorgate we have visiting services include a hairdresser, chiropodist, optician, dentist and clergy of all denominations.
